Economic decline of USA is rooted in country’s spiritual decline


That’s true – the economic decline of the USA is rooted in our spiritual decline. The paper describes how the separation should be understood and how this question is deliberately twisted by political and religious leaders. The follow-up discussion of the paper clearly showed an undeniable connection between the distorted understanding of the separation issue with the spiritual decline and a strong bond between the spiritual and economic deterioration.

How One Must Understand the Separation of the Church from the State – both According to the U.S. Constitution and According to the Torah


How this question is deliberately twisted by political and religious leaders.

Let us begin with two official documents where the question of the relationship of church and state is examined.

From the American Declaration of Independence adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776:

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by the Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do.  And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, ratified on December 15, 1791:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. How to figure out what is right and what is wrong in American politics


Each country has her own definition of what is GOOD and what is EVIL and this definition is unique and makes the country and the people of this country unique. Each country is strengthening the GOOD and constraining the EVIL in domestic and international affairs.

Politics is a tool for creating government and public forces capable and aimed at strengthening the GOOD and fighting the EVIL.
